第一、能握简驭繁地把众多的英语单词读准。

以下几种方法，但愿能对大家有所帮助。

一、学音标：

（一）先学字母音标

目的：通过唱字母歌已十分熟悉字母的发音了，把这些字母的音标写出来，一方面可以使字母的发音从理性上读得更规范；另一方面，英语音标有感性认识，觉得英语跟汉语一样，也有一套给它们的形注的音。在老师的指导下，你就很想知道，英语的音标有哪些，与汉语拼音相似吗？顺势转入下一步：学国际音标。

（二）学国际音标

目的：系统、熟练地掌握英语音标。这个掌握，就是要达到能读、能默写，为后面学单词时随时用，随时拿得出作准备。

Phonics 是一种(方法), 是教育学习者从字母排列中去拼读出单个字来.

AHD表示美语发音,The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language（简称AHD）

KK音标是一套(注音符号系统),是由John Samuel Kenyon 和 John Albert Knott两位美国学者共同编著的发音词典A Pronouncing Dictionary of American1956中用于标注美式发音的符号系统, 这是一套最常用的也是最权威的注音法，从此人们把美语标准发音惯称为KK音标。

英式读音根据的是English Pronouncing Dictionary 《英语正音辞典》。它们代表了被称为“Received Pronuciation”（RP）（标准读音）的读音，这在受过教育的英国人尤其是南部英格兰人中通用。

1、音节的划分

一个单词的音标中有几个元音就有几个音节。

2、重读音节

任何双音节或多音节单词的音标中，有重读音节和非重读音节，哪一个音节重读，该音节的左上方或该音节的元音上方标有重读符号“'”。

3、浊化音

国内的英文字典里最常见的音标为英式发音的国际音标 (DJ) 和美式发音的KK音标，前者乃根据Daniel Jones编的英语发音字典 (English Pronouncing Dictionary, 1963)，后者则是根据John S. Kenyon & Thomas A. Knott二氏的美语发音字典 (A Pronouncing Dictionary of American English, 1956)。值得一提的是，KK音标所使用的符号均从前面提到的国际音标符号 (IPA) 而来，Kenyon & Knott二氏仅将其中适用于美式英语的符号截取出来。
